General Information

If you have a relatively new Apple computer, you should be able to use ThatQuiz without any special installations. We've worked hard to make our site compatible with the Safari browser. However, if you have an older Apple computer, we recommend installing a modern browser before using the site. The now obsolete Internet Explorer 5 for Macintosh, for instance, is not capable of running our math quizzes. Safari users should upgrade to version 3 of the browser.

Firefox for OS-X All Versions

Firefox is the best choice for Macintosh users and can be installed on any OS-X computer. The download is available free from the Apple web site. Mac OS X 10.4 and later can install the newest Firefox 3. Mac OS X 10.2 and 10.3 must use the older Firefox 2.

Safari for OS-X Tiger and Leopard

If you can, we recommend upgrading to the new Safari 3 from Apple. Safari version 1.3 is not capable of running most of our pages. Version 2 may work, but is not tested.

What else to know?

If something doesn't work as you would expect, try upgrading your browser to the latest available. The Apple corporation frequently makes fixes to Safari which can eliminate problems. If you have an older version of OS-X and can't upgrade, stick with Firefox 2. If all us fails, contact us. We've gotten lots of schools up and running.
