Lesson - Constant Coefficient and Variable
The COEFFICIENT tells you
how many of the variable you
have.  It is ALWAYS the number
next to the variable.
The Constant is the number that doesn't
change - it is not next to a variable - it is
all by itself.
The variable is the letter used to represent an
unknown value, like x or y or a or b.
