Using the classe home page The Édition Classe option can be used to additionner or remove élèves from a class. It can also be used to configure a class home page. You can customize the page by adding your own text or a classe picture. Cliquer sur the link to see what your page looks like. Remember that if you make any changes, you'll have to click Enregistrer before the changes appear on the home page itself.

The home page is an entry point for all of your élèves to take the tests which have been assigned to them. It may be convenient to link to this page from your école or personal website. Conserver in mind, however, that when a page is made public on the Internet, it is public to anyone who is using the Internet. For this reason, we've included the option of defining student passwords for the home page. You, the enseignant, set the passwords. You could choose one password for everyone in the whole classe, or a different password for each élève. By doing this, you avoid the risk that a complete stranger stumbles upon your page et begins taking your test de classes.

Plus than math - using the Public Bibliothèque de tests Below the Tests de math section of your menu is a section called Autres tests. This is for matching and multiple choice tests which may cover any subject. If you want to design your own matching or multiple choice test click "Design". You might also find a test which is useful to you by clicking "Browse". This allows you to see tests which have been created et made public by other teachers.

If you are browsing the public tests and see one you'd like to use, there are two options: Assign et Import. If you choose Assigner the test will immediately be made ready for your élèves, with its own nouveau test code. If you choose Import, the test instead is copied to your Design aire where you can modify the questions.

Multiple choice questions may include images. In order to ensure that the image you upload can be displayed in any élève's browser, there are some restrictions on the images you can include. You may have to edit your image with an image editor on your computer. Most importantly, the image must be saved as a jpeg, gif or png file, et it must be smaller than 64k. ThatQuiz resizes images which are larger than 400x300 pixels so that they will fit with the question text even on small computer screens.

It is not necessary to make your own tests public so that students can test. Making a test public means that you are willing to share the test with other teachers. If you have older students who are very computer-savvy, it may be wise to delay making a test public until after they have tested. There is nothing to stop a élève from registering himself/herself as a enseignant et browsing the public test library to look at your tests the night before an examen! It's also possible that a public test could be found by an Internet search engine. If you do create a matching or multiple choice test which may be valuable to other teachers, we encourage you to make the test public after your own élèves have tested.

Preparing customized test pratiques Did you ever want to have plus control over the test pratiques your students take? The buttons from the ThatQuiz home page give easy access to the most popular quiz types, but élèves are on their own for choosing the level et test length. If you want to make sure a élève gets exactly the test pratique he or she needs, it may be useful to create pre-configured test pratiques.

After the test options for a test pratique, there's a link called "Make URL". Click the link to get a specific URL for this test configuration, at the bottom of the page, for you to share with your élèves.
