1) Find the area of the triangular base.
To find the surface area of a triangular prism:
2) Multiply the area of the triangle by 2.
3) Find the area of each of the three rectangular 
    sides.
4) Add them all up.
Areas of rectangular sides = 10 x 3 + 8 x 3 + 6 x 3 =                          30 + 24 + 18 = 72cm2

Area of the triangles= 24 x 2 = 48 cm2

72 + 48 =
